10 Years International Intersex Forum

Let’s Celebrate!

In September 2021 it has been 10 years since the First International Intersex Forum (IIF) took place in Brussels, Belgium.

We would like to raise awareness on the fact that 10 years have passed since this important event took place and how much indeed has changed since then in a positive way. Especially, as this and the following gatherings have been formative for the founding of OII Europe from a European network of intersex activists and initiatives towards a regional organisation, and for the emerging global movement that was kickstarted with the first three Intersex Fora.
